JA-100+ Internal Sirens

Purpose and typical use

Internal sirens for the Jablotron JA-100+ system provide immediate audible (and often visual) alerts for alarms and system events. They are intended for indoor placement to ensure that occupants are promptly notified.

Choosing the right siren

Decide between wired and wireless units based on installation constraints and power availability. Wireless models are convenient for retrofits and small homes; wired devices are preferred in larger or commercial setups for reliability and centralized power management.

Look for features such as system integration, LED indicators, and mute/verification options to reduce false alarms. Note: JA-100+ sirens are not compatible with Jablotron JA-10 devices.

Placement and installation tips

Place sirens in circulation areas like hallways or near central rooms to maximize audibility. In commercial sites, position multiple units according to the floor plan to cover key zones effectively.

Before purchase, verify mounting options, wiring needs and compatibility with the JA-100+ control panel to ensure smooth installation and maintenance.
