GD-02K-DIN universal GSM communicator and controller

Overview
The GD-02K-DIN universal GSM communicator and controller enables reliable remote control and status monitoring of various appliances. Control is possible by SMS or by dialling in; the unit supports modes for control, monitoring, temperature measuring and thermostat operation.

Outputs and control modes
The module includes 2 controlled outputs (REL1 power, REL2 signal) configurable as status or impulse outputs (impulse length 1 s – 24 h). Outputs can be operated by SMS, by call or via local inputs; custom report texts can be assigned for activation/deactivation.

Inputs and pulse counter
Inputs IN1 and IN2 detect activation by connection to GND or by voltage thresholds and both support impulse counting (for electricity, gas, water meters). The current counter status and limit breaches can be reported by SMS.

Temperature measurement and thermostat
A JB-TS-PT1000 digital thermometer can be connected to measure temperature and to operate the module as a thermostat. Required and antifreeze temperatures can be set remotely by SMS and the REL1 power output switches according to the configured thresholds.

Installation and configuration
Designed for DIN‑rail mounting, the GD-02K-DIN is programmed locally via MicroUSB using GD‑Link software (v.2.3.0 or higher) or remotely via GPRS. The device stores up to 100 authorised phone numbers and includes an internal Polymer Li‑ion backup battery to maintain operation during mains failure.
