BP12-18 is a universal backup power supply intended to power devices that require a stable 12 V DC source in alarm and related systems. It includes battery charge management and automatic switching to the backup battery if mains power is lost.

The supply provides 13.5 V DC at a continuously available current of 2 A, with protection/peak capability up to 3 A (peaks may be supplied from the battery). Input voltage range is 110–230 V AC, 50–60 Hz.

BP12-18 supports 12 V lead-gel batteries with capacities from 7 Ah up to 26 Ah. For batteries between 7 Ah and 18 Ah the PLV-CP-L enclosure is recommended; larger batteries can be accommodated using an external box. LED indicators show AC presence and backup battery status.
