JA-82T — USB PC interface cable for OASiS

The JA-82T connects Jablotron OASiS control panels to a computer running OLink software. The interface implements the HID standard, which removes the need to install drivers on the PC. Circuits are opto-isolated to prevent disruptive signals from the computer reaching the control panel.

Installation: plug the RJ-4 connector into the control panel's digital bus connector and the USB connector into any free PC USB port. The cable allows direct text transfer from OLink to the JA-81F wireless keypad (not to the JA-80F).

  • External power supply: Not required (bus-powered)
  • Compatibility: all OASiS systems
  • Software: OLink version 1.0.2 and higher
  • EMC: EN50130-4, EN 55002

Cable extension and installation notes: USB can be extended with a standard USB extension cable up to 5 m. The RJ connector can use the CT-04 cable for up to 10 m; using twisted pair cable the maximum length can be up to 100 m. Follow the connection scheme: the two middle RJ pins (data) to one twisted pair, the outer pins (power) to the other pair.

The JA-82T is intended for programming/configuration of OASiS systems via OLink. Follow the control panel manufacturer's installation and safety instructions.
