An additional headset for the video intercom is intended for connection to the indoor unit of the video intercom (monitor). An additional handset serves as an extension of the video intercom system (eg to another room). The additional handset has a functionality similar to a monitor, it can be used to talk to the visitor, the front door can be opened and the visitor can enter. The additional handset, of course, does not have a built-in monitor and the visitor cannot be seen on it. An additional video intercom handset in combination with some video intercom monitors also has the possibility of internal communication between the monitor and the handset. This is especially useful when the headset is mounted on the second floor relative to the video monitor
