JA-153E wireless keypad with RFID

The JA-153E is a two-way wireless access module combining a numeric keypad and an integrated 125 kHz RFID reader to operate Jablotron 100+ alarm and SmartHome systems. It provides local control, user authorization and status indication via addressable segments.

The unit occupies one operating segment and can be expanded with up to 20 JA-192E control segments. Segments allow separate arming/disarming of parts of the system, indication of segment status and activation of programmable outputs directly from the keypad.

Smart Radio Wake-up (SRW) allows the module to automatically exit sleep mode during an entrance delay (for example when a wireless door detector is triggered), balancing battery life and responsiveness. The module is addressable and occupies one position in the system.

Power is provided by 2 x AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included); typical battery life is 1–2 years depending on configuration and usage. Communication is on 868.1 MHz using the JABLOTRON protocol; maximum RF power (ERP) ≈ 15 mW and typical open-area range is around 200 m.
