Overview and purpose

The JA-154E-WH provides a local user interface for arming/disarming and status monitoring of a JABLOTRON 100/100+ alarm system. It combines a backlit LCD, tactile keypad and RFID reader in a single wireless module suitable for entrances and control points.

Functions and integration

The unit communicates two-way on the JABLOTRON radio protocol and supports Smart Radio Wake-up (SRW) to wake the display/RFID when a linked wireless detector (e.g., door contact) is triggered during the entrance delay. It is addressable and occupies one system position; up to 20 JA-192E control segments can be associated to show zone, PG output and shared segment states.

Power and consumption

Powered by 4 × AA alkaline batteries (LR6, 1.5 V). Typical battery lifetime is 1–2 years depending on settings and usage. Low-battery threshold is <4.4 V. Quiescent current is 16 μA, maximum current 40 mA; each additional control segment adds 2.5 mA. The unit also accepts external power input (power input from external supply 0.5 W).

Radio and RFID

Communication band: 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol) with maximum RF power (ERP) 15 mW and a communication range of approximately 200 m in open area. Integrated RFID operates at 125 kHz; maximum RFID magnetic field strength is specified as -5.4 dBμA/m (measured at 10 m).

Dimensions: 102 × 145 × 33 mm; weight (without batteries) 350 g. Operating temperature range: -10 °C to +40 °C; average operating humidity 75 % RH (non‑condensing).
