BAT-1V5 AAA is an alkaline cell with a nominal voltage of 1.5 V in the standard AAA (LR03) format. It is designed to power low-current devices such as indoor alarm detectors, wireless modules and smart sensors.

Alkaline cells offer a cost-effective and widely available power source. Their water‑based electrolyte, however, means performance and available capacity can drop significantly at very low temperatures.

Usage advice

Use BAT-1V5 AAA in protected indoor environments and in devices with modest current draw. Avoid cheap, unbranded batteries of unknown quality and do not substitute alkaline cells with rechargeable types unless the device specification explicitly allows it.

Outdoor and cold conditions

For sensors exposed to low temperatures or harsh conditions we recommend lithium cells because they maintain voltage better and typically offer longer service life under such conditions.
