JAB Signal repeater for JA-100 wireless components JA-151R

JA-151R signal repeater extends the communication range between the control panel radio module and selected JABLOTRON 100+ wireless peripherals. It effectively doubles the radio range to cover larger sites or locations with strong signal attenuation where bus wiring or extra radio modules are impractical.

The repeater is best placed roughly halfway between the panel’s radio module and the most distant peripheral so it can receive and retransmit the captured signal at full power. JA-151R is the modernized successor to JA-150R, featuring smaller dimensions, 8–15 V DC power, and support for selected two‑way asynchronous devices.

Use cases and benefits: provides reliable radio coverage in large buildings and difficult RF environments, reduces the need for additional cabling, and simplifies system design. The unit is intended for installation in a JA-194PL enclosure which allows mounting of a power supply and a backup battery for operation during mains failure.

Compatibility and limitations: compatible with control panels JA-103K, JA-107K and radio modules JA-112R (and older JA-111R). It supports most one‑way wireless detectors, keyfobs and non‑addressable PG modules and selected two‑way asynchronous peripherals. It does NOT repeat fully two‑way (synchronous) devices such as keypads and access modules (JA-15xE), sirens (JA-1xxA), fire detectors with internal siren (JA-151ST-A), motion detectors with camera (JA-1xxPC), combined PIR+MW (JA-1xxPW), thermostats (JA-150TP, JB-15xTx), addressable output modules or other repeaters.

Installation notes: the repeater is powered from a 12 V DC source (range 8–15 V).
