JAB JA-197J is a leather key tag featuring a dual UID chip that supports both LF RFID (125 kHz) and HF NFC/MIFARE (13.56 MHz). It is intended for contactless user authorization in JABLOTRON JA-100, JA-100+ and Mercury systems and works with keypads and readers that support these frequencies.

Typical uses include quick authorization for arming/disarming the alarm, automatic door or gate opening and other functions triggered by holding the tag near a reader. The leather finish provides a neat, durable appearance appropriate for everyday carry.

The key tag maintains compatibility with Jablotron access modules and is designed for backward compatibility with older reader generations. The rear side features a wireless reader symbol to distinguish it from earlier types without the symbol (e.g. JA-194J).
