Bus back-up booster unit JA-120Z

JA-120Z is a bus back-up booster unit intended for the JABLOTRON 100 system. It increases available bus current, extends the usable length of BUS lines and provides galvanic separation between input and outputs. When a backup battery is connected, the unit supplies 12 V devices in case of mains failure.

The unit features two independent BUS outputs; each output allows extension of the bus wiring by up to 500 m. Output voltage is DC 13.5 V with a maximum output current of 2 A. Up to three JA-120Z units can be connected in parallel to increase available power.

Note that JA-120Z does not increase the maximum count of addressable devices on the JA-100 bus — it only extends power and reach. The recommended backup battery is 12 V, 7–18 Ah (plug-in connector). Charging time to 80% for an 18 Ah battery is under 72 hours.

The optional PLV-CP-L plastic enclosure is sold separately. The module is galvanically separated (4 kV test) and complies with relevant security standards (e.g. EN 50131 series). Operating temperature: -10 °C to +40 °C, max. 75% RH (non-condensing).
