Overview

The JA-156E-AN is a wireless touchscreen keypad from the JABLOTRON 100+ series designed for user-friendly control via virtual keys and RFID cards/tags. It provides local control, user authorization and a modern interface for residential and commercial security installations.

Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a certified installer (Jablotron certificate issued by an authorised distributor). Note: the backup battery is not supplied; the manufacturer recommends the BAT-3V7-2500 Li‑Ion polymer battery.

Main features

  • Radio: 868.1 MHz JABLOTRON protocol, ERP <25 mW, typical range ≈ 200 m (open area).
  • RFID reader: 125 kHz for card/tag authorization.
  • Power supply: external adapter +12 V DC (8–15 V). For compliance with EN 50131-1 and related regulations, the power supply should be installed in the KU68 mounting box beneath the keypad per manufacturer instructions.
  • Backup battery: Li‑Ion Polymer 3.7 V / 2500 mAh (recommended BAT-3V7-2500), typical backup >48 h; charging to 80% in 6–7 h.
  • Dimensions / weight: 95 × 183 × 30 mm; 258 g (without battery).
  • Classification: Security grade 2 / Environmental class I (EN 50131-1).

Specified electrical values are retained from the official datasheet: nominal current 58 mA (display off), max. consumption 280 mA (display on), LowBatt threshold 3.5 V, operating temp. 0 °C to +40 °C, relative humidity up to 75 % RH (non‑condensing).

The product manual contains step‑by‑step mounting instructions, user authorization procedures (PIN or RFID), tamper contacts and recommended fixation (4 × ø3.5 × 40 mm countersunk screws). Follow the manual and local standards when integrating the keypad into a system.
