Operation and expansion: four fixed segments present frequently used controls with clear colour status indication (traffic light logic). The device includes one operating control segment and the system can be extended with up to 20 JA-192E control segments for additional control locations.

Power and radio: powered by 4×AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (typical life 1–2 years; low battery detection <4.5 V). External 12 V ±1 V adapter is supported. Two‑way wireless communication uses 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol), ERP <25 mW and an open‑field range of approximately 200 m.
