JA-115E Bus four-segment keypad with display and RFID reader

Overview

Jablotron JA-115E is a two‑way BUS keypad with an LCD display, numeric keypad and built‑in 125 kHz RFID reader. Designed for control and status indication of a Jablotron 100+ system, it provides four programmable segments whose labels are shown on the display. The module is addressable and occupies one position on the BUS.

Features and operation

Each of the four segments can be assigned functions via the F‑Link software (section control, panic, PG output control, status indication, etc.). Authorization rules can be applied so that setting/unsetting requires user authorization; individual segments may be configured to operate without authorization if required.

Optical and acoustic indications are adjustable (backlight intensity, volume, DAY/NIGHT modes). The keypad can display date and time on the bottom line of the LCD when a segment is unused.

RFID and power

The RFID reader operates at 125 kHz and its behavior can be limited to save power (permanently ON, activated by pressing, disabled, or activated by press or authorization request). Power is supplied from the control panel BUS: 12 V DC (operating range 8–15 V).

Installation and configuration

Installation, enrolment and configuration must be performed by a trained technician authorised by a distributor. The device is mounted on the supplied backplate and enrolled into the system using F‑Link or by entering its serial number.
