Overview

The Jablotron JA-155E-NFC-AN is a wireless four-segment keypad designed for JABLOTRON 100+ and Mercury systems. It combines a clear LCD display with segment-based controls that show system status using a traffic-light logic for immediate recognition and simple operation.

NFC authentication

The built-in NFC reader operates at 13.56 MHz and supports MIFARE tags, providing modern and secure user authorization with cards or fobs. NFC replaces legacy 125 kHz RFID and enables fast, contactless access without mandatory PIN entry.

Power and radio

The keypad is powered by 4×AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included); typical battery life is 1–2 years depending on usage and settings. For wired supply an external 12 V ±1 V adapter can be used. Radio communication uses the Jablotron protocol at 868.1 MHz with ERP <25 mW and a nominal range of approximately 200 m in open area.

Expandability and compatibility

The device includes one control segment and supports modular extension with JA-192E control segments — the system can host up to 20 such segments for expanded local control. The keypad is intended for installation and commissioning by authorized technicians.
