JA-150IR – Wireless IR optical barrier

The JA-150IR is an Optex optical barrier fitted with wireless transmitters compatible with the JABLOTRON 100+ system. It detects intrusion by interrupting the IR link between the transmitter and receiver; the two‑beam optical arrangement improves immunity to false alarms and reduces unwanted alerts from small animals.

Both barrier units (transmitter and receiver) report status to the control panel and can send tamper signals. The device occupies two positions (zones) in the alarm system, allowing flexible coverage of passageways and entrances.

Designed for outdoor use, the enclosure meets IP55 protection. The transmitters perform regular self‑tests and use energy saving modes to extend battery life. Installation and alignment should be carried out by a trained, certified technician.
