JA-157P – Dual-zone outdoor curtain PIR detector

The JA-157P is an Optex curtain-style dual-zone outdoor PIR detector combined with a wireless transmitter compatible with the JABLOTRON 100/100+ system. Its narrow 5° detection angle provides precise coverage of narrow openings (balconies, French doors, terraces) without alarming on adjacent areas.

Equipped with dual-beam optics, the detector offers high immunity to false alarms and reduced triggering by small animals. It includes an anti-masking feature to detect attempts to obscure the optics, and three tamper contacts (one on the detector, two on the transmitter) that immediately report opening or forced removal.

Communication is on 868.1 MHz using the Jablotron protocol with an RF range up to 300 m in open area. Power is supplied by a single CR123A lithium battery (3.0 V / 1.4 Ah) — battery not included. Typical battery life is approximately 3 years in the power-saving mode.

Use cases and benefits: precise perimeter protection of narrow apertures, low false-alarm rate, anti-masking and clear tamper reporting. The unit occupies a single address in the JABLOTRON system and is intended for professional outdoor mounting.
