JA-169P Outdoor two-zone PIR motion detector

The JA-169P outdoor two‑zone PIR motion detector is designed to reliably detect human movement in external environments. Its optical module contains two independent PIR sensors operating with AND logic to minimise false alarms — an alarm is signalled only when both zones are triggered simultaneously. Lenses and polycarbonate housing are UV‑resistant for prolonged outdoor use.

The detector combines a JL01 PIR module with a JA-150TX-V1 radio transmitter. Wireless communication uses the JABLOTRON protocol at 868.1 MHz with a maximum ERP of 25 mW and an RF range up to approximately 300 m in open area.

Power is provided by a single CR123A lithium battery (3.0 V / 1.4 Ah); batteries are not included. Typical battery lifetime is about 3 years under normal conditions. Quiescent and operational currents are approximately 30 µA and up to 55 mA respectively. Power‑save timer options (30 s or 180 s) are available to extend battery life.

The unit is rated for outdoor use with IP45 protection and an operating temperature range of -25 °C to +60 °C. Recommended mounting height is 1–1.2 m. Detection coverage reaches up to 15 m with an 85° angle divided into 11 segments; target speed range is 0.3–1.5 m/s.
