Overview

JA-153M is a compact wireless magnetic detector designed to monitor the opening of doors and windows within the JABLOTRON ecosystem. The detector recognises external magnetic fields and allows selection between pulse or status reaction modes. Its slim profile makes it suitable for narrow frames and discreet installation.

  • Power: 1x AAA alkaline battery (LR03, 1.5 V / 1.2 Ah) — battery not included.
  • Battery life: about 2 years (max. 10 activations/day).

Installation and operation

The detector must be installed and commissioned by a trained, certified technician. In the control panel service mode the detector LED can indicate each activation for verification; in normal operation activations are not indicated locally. Installation requires attention to magnet-to-detector distances — the product is supplied with appropriate magnets and activation distances vary depending on axis and mounting surface.

Intended use and limits

The JA-153M is intended for general indoor use at temperatures from -10 °C to +40 °C and up to 75 % RH (non-condensing). It is compatible only with JA-103K and JA-107K control panels and should not be used on incompatible systems without verification.
