More info

JA-181M is a wireless magnetic opening detector and universal transmitter designed for JABLOTRON 100/100+ alarm systems. The built-in magnetic sensor reports removal of the magnet and can trigger either an instant or a delayed intruder alarm depending on the system configuration.

The device provides inputs for additional wired sensors: IN1 (configurable as NC or as a balanced loop with an EOL resistor), IN2 and TMP (normally closed loops). The maximum recommended cable length for external detectors is 3 m. JA-181M can also be used with auxiliary probes such as the LD-81 flood detector.

Technical highlights: operates on Jablotron protocol at 868.1 MHz, with a typical open-area communication range of approximately 300 m. Power is supplied by a single lithium battery type LS(T)14500 (Jablotron BAT-3V6-AA-LS, 3.6 V); typical battery life is about 3 years with up to 20 activations per day. The unit provides battery supervision and tamper (case removal) monitoring.

Dimensions and environment: electronics 110 x 31 x 26 mm (approx. 90 g), magnet 56 x 16 x 15 mm. Operating temperature range: -10 °C to +40 °C. The detector meets applicable EN standards for indoor use (EN 50131 series, grade 2) and should be enrolled and configured in the control panel by a certified installer.

Installation & use: suited for standard door and window protection, allows connection of additional wired contacts or probes (e.g. roller blind movement sensors), and IN1 can be set for balanced loop detection. Installation by a qualified technician is recommended to ensure correct enrolment and sensitivity settings.
