CT-01 is a wired shutter-movement detector intended to detect unauthorised manipulation of external roller shutters, blinds and similar window covers. A ratchet-wheel mechanism turns string movement into a series of open–closed contact pulses at the detector terminals.

The CT-01 wired outputs are intended to be connected to the wired input of an OASiS JA-81M door detector so the signals can be passed to the alarm system. The JA-81M input contains logic that filters random small string movements (for example from wind) and only raises an alarm when at least 3 pulses are received within 5 seconds, reducing false alarms.

Installation notes: mount the detector so the string is guided correctly across the ratchet mechanism and keep the cable length to the JA-81M to a maximum of 3 metres. The CT-01 is designed for outdoor protected environments according to EN 50131-1 (environment III).
