JS-7910 — Pet (pet-immunity) lens for PIR detectors

JS-7910 is a replacement "pet" lens for PIR motion detectors engineered to lower false alarms triggered by household animals. The lens alters the detector’s coverage so that small animals are less likely to be detected while maintaining human detection performance where possible.

Key effects when fitted: animals approximately up to 40 cm tall are typically ignored and the working detection range is reduced to roughly 7 metres (actual values depend on the detector model and installation conditions). The lens is intended as an accessory for Jablotron JA/JS series PIR detectors (e.g. JS-20, JS-25, JA-150P); always confirm suitability in the detector’s manual before fitting.

Benefits and installation notes:

  • Reduces false alarms from small pets without changing detector electronics.
  • Simple optical replacement in compatible PIR housings.
  • After installation, perform a practical test with the household pet to verify that pets are ignored while people are still detected reliably.
