Curtain lens JS-7902

JS-7902 is an alternative optical lens for PIR detectors that produces a narrow vertical "curtain" detection pattern instead of a broad coverage area. It is used to create a detection barrier to register crossings through a defined line (e.g. doorways or narrow corridors).

By narrowing the detection field the lens helps avoid unwanted alarms from movement outside the guarded curtain (for example small pets moving along the floor or general activity in the room). After fitting an alternative lens always check the detector manual and run functional coverage tests in the target environment.
