JA-120PB Bus combined PIR motion and glass‑break detector

The JA-120PB is an addressable bus detector that integrates a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor and a GBS glass‑break sensor into a single enclosure. It occupies two consecutive positions in the JABLOTRON 100 system and is designed for indoor use.

The GBS unit detects breaking glass by analysing air pressure changes and characteristic breaking sounds; the pressure‑change sensitivity can be adjusted via a trimmer on the PCB. The PIR offers selectable immunity modes (Standard / Increased) to reduce false alarms in challenging environments.

Installation should be performed by a trained technician. Recommended mounting height is 2.5 m; the standard PIR coverage is 110° up to 12 m.

  • Power: from control panel bus 12 V DC (9 … 15 V)
  • Current consumption: standby 5 mA; for cable selection max. 10 mA
  • GBS detection distance: up to 9 m (minimum glass size 0.6 × 0.6 m)
  • Dimensions: 60 × 95 × 55 mm
  • Classification: Grade II / Environmental class II (EN 50131‑1)
  • Operating range: −10 °C … +40 °C; 75 % RH, non‑condensing

The detector complies with EN 50131‑1, EN 50131‑2‑2, CLC/TS 50131‑2‑7‑1 and electromagnetic/EMC standards EN 50130‑4, EN 55022. Refer to the official manual for detailed installation and configuration instructions.
