JA-162PB is a wireless combined PIR motion and glass‑break detector manufactured by JABLOTRON ALARMS a.s. It integrates a passive infrared sensor and an acoustic/pressure glass‑break sensor (GBS) in a single housing, designed for indoor alarm installations and compatible with the JABLOTRON 100/100+ family.

The PIR sensor detects human movement across a 90° coverage angle up to 12 m. The GBS module analyses air‑pressure changes and characteristic sound patterns to detect glass breakage, with a recommended detection coverage of 90° up to 9 m. The device occupies two positions in the control panel so each sensor can be monitored separately.

Wireless communication uses 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol) with maximum ERP <25 mW and a declared RF range up to 500 m in open area. Power is supplied by 2× CR123A lithium batteries (3.0 V / 1.5 Ah); typical battery life is approximately 3 years. Low battery threshold is <2.7 V.

Installation and commissioning must be carried out by a certified Jablotron installer. Recommended mounting height is 2.5 m above the floor. Avoid installing the detector directly opposite windows, spotlights or in locations with strong air flows that could affect GBS performance.
