Jablotron JA-180P is a compact wireless PIR motion detector designed for reliable indoor intrusion detection. Digital signal processing reduces false alarms while ensuring sensitive and stable detection of human movement.

The detector includes a cover tamper switch that reports unauthorized opening or removal. The standard detection pattern covers a 120° angle up to 12 m; detection characteristics can be adapted for special installations by using alternative lenses (where supported).

Communication uses the 868.1 MHz Jablotron protocol. The nominal radio range in open area conditions is approximately 300 m; actual range depends on site conditions and mounting. Power is supplied by one CR14500 (AA) 3.6 V lithium cell; typical battery lifetime is around 3 years, depending on activity and sleep settings.

Recommended mounting height is 2.0–2.5 m above floor level. Operational temperature range is -10 °C to +40 °C. The unit is certified to EN 50131-1, EN 50131-2-2 and EN 50131-5-3 (Grade 2) and complies with applicable radio and EMC standards.
