Overview

The JAB JA-153M-BR is a wireless magnetic contact by JABLOTRON designed to detect the opening of doors, windows and similar access points. The detector recognises external magnetic fields to reduce false triggering from attempts to tamper with magnets.

Response: selectable pulse or status signal; Power: 1x AAA (LR03) battery; Compatibility: only with JA-103K and JA-107K control panels.

  • Communication range: approx. 500 m in open area (environment dependent).

Installation and service

The device must be installed and configured by a certified technician. The detector is supplied with a ferrite magnet; the manufacturer provides activation/deactivation distance tables depending on axis and mounting surface (magnetic or non-magnetic). In normal operation individual activations are not shown by the LED; events can be reviewed in service mode or via configuration tools.

Applications

Suitable for protecting residential and commercial doors, windows, balconies and other openings where opening detection and magnet-tamper recognition are required. Verify panel compatibility (JA-103K or JA-107K) before installation.
