JA-120PB — Bus combined PIR motion and glass‑break detector

JA-120PB combines two independent detectors in a single enclosure: a PIR sensor for human motion detection and a GBS (glass break sensor) that analyses air pressure changes together with the acoustic signature of breaking glass. The unit is intended for indoor use and is enrolled to two consecutive positions in the JABLOTRON 100 system.

Both sensors provide adjustable sensitivity. The PIR offers selectable immunity levels (standard / increased) to balance detection speed and false alarm immunity, while the GBS sensitivity to pressure changes can be fine‑tuned with a trimmer on the PCB. This allows reliable operation in varied installation environments.

Installation and commissioning: recommended mounting height is 2.5 m above floor level. GBS detection is effective up to 9 m with a minimum glass size of 0.6 x 0.6 m. Installation, enrollment and functional testing should be carried out by an authorised, certified technician.

System integration: the detector is powered from the control panel BUS (12 V DC, 9…15 V) and occupies two addresses. Quiescent current is 5 mA, maximal current for cable choice 10 mA.

Standards and certification: classified as Security Grade II / Environmental Class II (EN 50131‑1) and compliant with EN 50131‑2‑2, CLC/TS 50131‑2‑7‑1 and relevant EMC standards (EN 50130‑4, EN 55022). Certification bodies: Trezor Test s.r.o. (no. 3025), Telefication B.V.
