The JA-162PB-GR is a wireless combined detector designed for indoor use that integrates a Passive Infra‑Red (PIR) motion sensor and an acoustic Glass Break Sensor (GBS) in a single enclosure. The two sensors are evaluated independently and therefore the device occupies two positions in the control panel for zoning and event handling.

The detector communicates using the JABLOTRON radio protocol at 868.1 MHz and achieves an RF range of up to 500 m in open areas. Recommended mounting height is 2.2–2.5 m for optimal coverage. The unit should be installed and commissioned by a trained, certified technician.

Avoid installing the detector directly facing windows or spotlights and in locations with strong air flow (ventilation, air-conditioning outlets, leaking doors, etc.) as these conditions may affect detection reliability. Power is supplied by 2× CR123A lithium batteries; use of the distributor battery BAT-3V0-CR123A is recommended to ensure expected battery lifetime.
