Purpose and compatibility

The JA-152P-GR is a bidirectional wireless PIR detector designed to detect human motion indoors and to integrate into the JABLOTRON 100+ alarm platform. It is addressable and compatible with F-Link 2.0.0 and newer.

Installation options

Standard placement is in a room corner. For wall mounting use the JA-196PL-S bracket (detector partly recessed for an elegant finish). For ceiling mounting or inclined detection angles use the JA-191PL articulated holder. Recommended installation height: 2.2–2.5 m above floor level. Recommended fixing: 2x ø 3.5 x 40 mm countersunk screws.

Detection optics and behaviour

The unit is fitted with a fixed lens providing 90°/12 m coverage (three detection curtains). The lens is non‑replaceable and the detection characteristic is identical for the white and grey versions. The detector features impulse activation and two configurable levels of false‑alarm immunity.

Power and radio

Powered by one CR123A lithium battery (3 V/1500 mAh) — battery not included. Typical battery lifetime up to 4 years (smartwatch mode, 20 °C). Low battery threshold <2.4 V. Quiescent current 30 μA, maximum current 100 mA. Radio: 868.1 MHz, JABLOTRON protocol, ERP <20 mW, communication range approx. 300 m in open area. The detector can be used to control programmable PG outputs of the control panel.

Environment and compliance

Operating temperature: -10 °C to +40 °C; up to 75 % RH non‑condensing. Classified as Security Grade 2 / Environmental Class II (EN 50131‑1). The product complies with relevant standards listed in the official datasheet (EN 50131 series, ETSI EN 300 220, EN 55032, EN 62368‑1, etc.) and may be operated according to ERC REC 70‑30 where applicable.

Practical notes

  • Standard white‑light immunity up to 6000 lux.
  • The lens must not be changed; plan coverage based on the fixed 90°/12 m pattern.
  • Radio range depends on site conditions; verify link quality during commissioning.
