Overview
The JA-162PC is a wireless component of the JABLOTRON system combining PIR motion detection with a verification camera. It is intended for indoor use where photo verification improves alarm assessment.

Camera and storage
The camera captures colour photos (LQ 320×240; HQ 640×480). Images are saved to the detector’s internal memory and forwarded to the control panel; from there they can be sent to MyJABLOTRON or an ARC. The detector can also take photos on demand.

Flash and transfer
A visible flash enables night photography (flash range up to max. 3 meters). Typical photo sizes are 5–20 kB (LQ) and 5–64 kB (HQ). Typical (LQ) photo transmission time to the control panel is up to 20 s (10 s); (HQ) up to 130 s (60 s). Typical transfer to server: 15 s/GPRS; 2 s/LAN.

Installation and compatibility
The detector occupies one device position in the system and must be installed by a trained technician certified by an authorised distributor. Photo-verification is available only after registering the system to MyJABLOTRON or with subsequent ARC service. Compatible with JA-103K, JA-107K, JA-102K control panels and newer models.

Placement guidance
Recommended installation height is 2.5 m above floor level. PIR detection angle/coverage is 90°/12 m and the camera horizontal capture angle is 90°. Position the device to cover expected movement paths and avoid direct sources of false alarms.
