JA-154P – Wireless PIR Motion Detector

The JA-154P is a modern wireless PIR motion detector designed for standard indoor protection. It replaces the older JA-150P and is intended for use in JABLOTRON 100+ and Mercury systems.

Detection performance: The detector provides a 90° detection angle with a range of up to 12 m. A PET variant is available that reduces the effective range to roughly 7 m to improve immunity to pets. Digital signal processing and filtering reduce false alarms.

Power and communication: Two-way wireless communication on 868.1 MHz using the JABLOTRON protocol. Powered by 2× LR6 (AA) alkaline batteries. Typical battery life is approximately 4 years; low battery threshold is below 2.4 V.

Installation and configuration: Settings are managed through configuration software (no need to open the cover). The detector occupies one position in the system. Recommended installation height is about 2.2 m. Installation should be performed by a certified Jablotron technician.

Specifications and compliance: Communication range in open terrain approx. 500 m. Dimensions: 60.8 × 97.5 × 51.8 mm; weight without batteries approx. 82 g. Security classification: Grade 2 / Environment class II (EN 50131). Operating temperature range −10 °C to +40 °C.

Use cases: Suitable for residential, office and commercial interiors where reliable motion detection and low false alarm rate are required. For pet-friendly installations consider the JA-154P PET variant.
