JAB JA-161PB is a wireless combined detector that integrates a PIR motion sensor and an acoustic glass‑break (GBS) sensor in one housing. It is intended for indoor protection of rooms with accessible glass surfaces where both movement and glass break events must be monitored.

The PIR sensor detects changes in the thermal image and provides coverage of 110° up to 12 m. The built‑in acoustic glass‑break sensor responds to pressure changes and high frequencies typical of broken glass; GBS coverage is 90° up to 9 m. For reliable glass‑break detection, the glass pane should be at least 60×60 cm and within 9 m of the detector.

Power is supplied by 2× alkaline LR6 (AA) batteries (1.5 V / 2.45 Ah). Typical battery life is approximately 2 years; low battery threshold is <2.4 V. Quiescent current is 53 μA, maximum current consumption up to 50 mA. Radio communication operates at 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol), maximum ERP <25 mW, with an RF range up to 500 m in open space.

When enrolled in a system, the detector occupies two peripheral slots (PIR and GBS), each configurable separately. Recommended installation height is 2.2–2.5 m. Dimensions: 60 × 98 × 52 mm, weight without batteries 91 g. Classification: Security grade 2 / Environmental class II (EN 50131‑1).
