JA-162PC-AN is a wireless combined PIR motion detector with a built‑in photo‑verification camera designed for indoor security. On alarm or by request the detector captures colour images which are stored in the device memory and forwarded to the control panel; from there they can be sent to MyJABLOTRON or an ARC for remote verification.

The detector occupies one device slot within a JABLOTRON system and must be installed and commissioned by a trained, certified installer. Photo‑verification services are available only after system registration on MyJABLOTRON or with an active ARC agreement.

Usage and advantages

Use JA‑162PC‑AN where visual confirmation reduces false alarms and speeds up appropriate response. The visible flash enables captures in low light; the camera provides a 90° horizontal field of view for room coverage.

  • Power: 2× CR123A lithium batteries (3 V / 1.5 Ah). Batteries not included; typical lifetime ~2 years (assumption: 1 activation + 1 photo series per day).
  • PIR detection: 90° angle / up to 12 m; recommended installation height 2.5 m.
  • Camera: LQ 320×240, HQ 640×480 px; photo size LQ/HQ 5–20 kB / 5–64 kB; flash range up to 3 m.
  • Radio: 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol); communication range approx. 300 m (open area); ERP 11 mW.
  • Environment: indoor general; operating temperature −10 °C to +40 °C; average humidity 75 % RH, non‑condensing.
  • Dimensions / weight: 150 × 65 × 44 mm; 130 g (without batteries).
  • Standards & certification: Security grade 2 / Environmental class II (EN 50131‑1); certified by Trezor Test no. 3025; compliant with applicable EN and ETSI standards.

Note the expected photo transmission times depend on photo quality and communications path (local transfer to control panel vs. server upload). Configure and enable photo‑verification via approved JABLOTRON programming tools and follow installer guidelines for placement to avoid false triggers and ensure reliable radio link.

Compatibility: compatible with control panels JA‑103K, JA‑107K, JA‑102K and newer JA‑100 series models.
