JA-161PW is a wireless combined motion detector (PIR + microwave) engineered for reliable indoor intrusion detection. The PIR sensor initiates detection and the microwave module confirms or rejects the event, improving immunity to false alarms caused by temperature shifts, drafts or radiant heat sources.

The detector is addressable within the JABLOTRON 100+ system and supports two‑way radio communication on 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol). Configuration and fine tuning are done remotely via F‑Link; microwave sensitivity is adjustable in four levels. Recommended mounting height is 2.5 m.

Installation and commissioning should be performed by a trained technician and the protected area inspected to ensure full coverage without blind spots.

Regulatory note: Check local regulations on microwave device use; some jurisdictions restrict parts of the 24 GHz band (e.g. use is not permitted in Great Britain for 24.05–24.15 GHz). Observe national telecommunications requirements.
