JA-120PW – BUS PIR & MW motion detector

The JA-120PW is designed for reliable indoor human motion detection. It combines a PIR sensor with a microwave (MW) sensor: the PIR operates as the primary detector and, upon detection, activates the MW module which confirms or refutes the PIR trigger before an alarm is reported to the control panel. The MW unit remains inactive when the system is disarmed.

Being addressable on the BUS, the detector can be configured and monitored centrally. PIR coverage can be optimised using interchangeable lenses to match installation specifics and reduce blind zones.

Main benefits include increased immunity to false alarms in environments with sudden temperature changes or drafts, selective MW activation only after PIR detection, and full integration into the Jablotron BUS addressing scheme.
