Product overview

The JB-TS-NTC10K is an external passive NTC10K temperature sensor designed for JABLOTRON thermostats. It is intended primarily for floor-temperature sensing and thermostat floor‑limit functions, and can also be used for local or informative measurements in saunas, pools, freezers and similar applications within the sensor’s installation limits.

Compatibility: compatible with JB-111TP, JB-151TP, JB-111TH, JB-151TH, JB-112TP and JB-112TH thermostats. The sensor connects to the dedicated external input on the thermostat to provide limiting or informative temperature feedback.

Design and operation: the sensing element is housed in a brass enclosure rated IP67 and supplied with a 3 m silicone cable (2 × 0.22 mm², shielded). Being a passive NTC device, it changes resistance with temperature and requires no external power. Probe size: 4.6 × 24 mm; cable resistance approx. 0.16 Ω/m; response time τ0.5 < 7 s (in flowing water at 0.4 m·s⁻¹).

Installation notes: for floor sensing install the probe in a protective sleeve and place it at least 30 cm from the wall, midway between heating pipes or cable loops. Avoid unnecessary cable extension as it may affect measurement accuracy; the supplied 3 m cable is recommended for typical installations.

The JB-TS-NTC10K provides reliable external temperature feedback so thermostats can limit floor temperature for safety, to protect floor coverings, and to improve occupant comfort.
