Product overview

The EI208W is a standalone carbon monoxide detector designed for early detection of CO in homes, caravans and boats. It uses a proven electrochemical sensor calibrated for CO and provides both audible alarm and LED visual indicators. The EI208DW variant additionally displays CO concentration on an LCD.

EI208W is certified for installation in building interiors, caravans and boats. The sealed battery and long-life sensor minimise maintenance and replacement frequency, making it suitable where long-term reliability is required. The EI208DW model adds an LCD to show real-time CO concentration values.

Install the detector following manufacturer guidance (recommended mounting positions relative to ceilings, doors and windows) to ensure reliable sensing of ambient CO. Operating temperature range is −10°C to +40°C with 15%–95% relative humidity (non-condensing).

The EI208W combines a reliable sensing technology with a maintenance-free power supply and optional wireless interconnect capability for expanded coverage in multi-alarm installations.
