More info

The JA-151ST is a wireless combined smoke and heat detector with an integrated siren for local and system alarm signalling. It integrates two independent sensing elements — an optical (light-scattering) smoke detector and a temperature sensor — and provides both LED and acoustic alarm indication. If communication with the control panel is lost, the detector can operate autonomously in accordance with EN 14604.

Designed for use with JABLOTRON 100 systems and other compatible wireless installations using the 868.1 MHz Jablotron protocol, the detector reports its own alarms and can also sound the built-in siren in response to a fire alarm from the system. Effective Radiated Power (ERP) is 10 mW and the open‑area communication range is approximately 300 m.

Installation and configuration must be performed by a trained installer holding a valid Jablotron certificate. The unit is not intended for harsh industrial environments with continuous contamination; correct placement and periodic maintenance (battery checks, cleaning) are essential for reliable operation.

Technical specifications

  • Power: 3 × AA (Alkaline LR6 or Lithium FR6). Batteries not included.
  • Typical battery life: ≥ 3 years.
  • Communication band: 868.1 MHz (Jablotron protocol), ERP 10 mW.
  • Communication range: approx. 300 m (open area).
  • Dimensions: Ø 126 mm, height 50 mm.
  • Standards: autonomous operation compliant with EN 14604; see manufacturer declarations for conformity details.

JA-151ST offers a balanced detection approach for homes and commercial premises where combining a sensitive optical smoke sensor with a heat detector reduces false alarms while improving detection of fast‑developing fires that produce limited smoke. Proper commissioning and periodic testing are recommended to maintain performance.
