JA-110ST is an addressable BUS combined smoke and temperature detector designed for fire detection inside residential and commercial buildings. It integrates an optical smoke chamber and a heat sensor; the detector can be set to react to smoke, heat, smoke or heat, or both simultaneously.

The detector occupies one position on the alarm bus and is enrolled/assigned an address during system setup. SMART MEMORY INDICATION (SMI) provides a visual LED confirmation of an activation; the SMI behaviour can be controlled through the system software.

The device reports a tamper when the cover is opened (unless the control panel is in Service mode). Installation and enrolment should be performed by a trained technician following recommended placement rules (typically ceiling mounting, minimum distances from walls and ventilation sources) to avoid false alarms.

Testing and maintenance

Optical function can be tested with a test spray and heat function with a hairdryer; if both triggers are enabled, both tests should be performed simultaneously. Monthly testing and regular cleaning of the detector cover from dust and cobwebs are recommended.

JA-110ST is intended for use in JABLOTRON 100 systems and is compatible with control units such as JA-101K, JA-102K, JA-103K, JA-106K and JA-107K. For correct configuration, placement and enrolment follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.
