JA-63S-100 is a battery-powered combined smoke and heat detector designed for residential and commercial installations on the JABLOTRON 100+ platform. The unit pairs an optical (light diffusion) smoke sensor with a temperature sensor; both outputs are digitally processed to increase immunity to false alarms.

The detector provides a local warning via a built‑in siren (min. 85 dB at 3 m) and a transparent LED indicator. Alarm events can also be transmitted wirelessly to the JABLOTRON control panel. Sensor participation (smoke only, heat only or both) and alarm memory are configured using DIP switches.

Install on a ceiling location that ensures prompt exposure to smoke and heat while avoiding direct airflow, ventilation outlets or areas within 0.5 m of walls. Typical detection guidance from the manual: smoke detection radius approx. 7.5 m (depending on ceiling height); temperature detection radius approx. 5 m.

Key technical data from the official documentation: power 1x AA alkaline battery 1.5 V (typical battery life ~2 years), operating frequency 868.1 MHz (JABLOTRON protocol), radio range up to 100 m in open space, smoke sensitivity m = 0.11–0.13 dB/m, temperature alarm threshold +60 °C to +70 °C. The detector complies with relevant standards listed in the manual (EN 14604, EN 54‑5 class A2, EN 50130‑4, EN 55022, ETSI EN 300220, EN 60950‑1). The unit performs an automatic self-test after battery insertion and supports manual testing via the control button. Low battery is reported to the control panel and signalled locally; replace batteries according to the installation instructions. Installation and maintenance should follow manufacturer guidance and be carried out by qualified personnel.
