JA-150ST — Wireless optical smoke and heat detector

The JA-150ST combines optical (light-scattering) smoke detection with an A2-class heat detector to provide reliable fire detection for homes and commercial spaces. It can be used as a standalone alarm or integrated into a Jablotron alarm system.

Selectable detection modes: smoke and heat, smoke or heat, smoke only, heat only. The unit includes an alarm memory function — the LED remains lit after an alarm to indicate a previous event.

Power supply: 3x LR6 (AA) alkaline batteries, 1.5 V (batteries not included). Typical battery lifetime is approximately 3 years. Wireless communication operates on 868.1 MHz using the Jablotron protocol with an ERP of 10 mW and an approximate range of 300 m in an unrestricted area.

Dimensions and weight: diameter 126 mm, height 50 mm, weight 150 g. Smoke detector sensitivity: m = 0.11 - 0.13 dB/m according to EN 54-7. Heat detection: class A2 according to EN 54-5; alarm temperature range +60 °C to +70 °C. Operating temperature range: -10 °C to +80 °C.

Standards: EN 54-5, EN 54-7, EN 54-25. The detector occupies one address in the system. Install on the ceiling following the manufacturer’s installation guidelines and applicable local regulations for detector spacing and placement.
